With stunning views over Stykkishólmur harbour, the restaurant
specialises in expertly made, locally sourced and seasonal food,
accompanied by a good selection of beers and wines. We are extremely
proud to work with local fishermen, farmers and breweries who provide us
with the very best materials. Sustainability and locality are very
important to us; we try our hardest to ensure that we are able to
produce high quality and delicious food while keeping our environmental
impact as low as possible. Breiðafjörður is a treasure trove for food
lovers, why would we need to look anywhere else!
Sjávarpakkhúsið has been certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. A
Nordic Swan Ecolabelled restaurant has adopted a lifecycle approach to
its work on the environment and met the stringent requirements of Nordic
Ecolabelling.
