Grundarfjörður Bed and Breakfast is a small 8 room guesthouse located by the harbor in Grundarfjörður. All rooms have private bathrooms with shower, flat screen TV and tea/coffee maker. The guesthouse is in the same building as our café and office for Láki Tours, at Nesvegur 5, 350 Grundarfjörður. We have 6 rooms on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor. Sauðafell Guesthouse is a newly renovated old romantic farmhouse from the 19th century. There are 6 rooms with made-up beds on two floors to choose from with great view. Kitchen with all necessary equipment as well as a large living room area and 3 modern bathrooms.  Free Wi-Fi in all rooms.  Sauðafell Guesthouse is an ideal place to enjoy the diverse landscape or simply relax.

Luxury in its simplicity in a beautiful comfortable house. The guesthouse is located in relaxing surroundings in the middle of Borgarfjordur about 90 km from Reykjavik in the west of Iceland, on a farm named Hvítárbakki. The guesthouse offers six rooms with comfortable beds, access to a living room, dining room, TV room, two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. There are also two double sofa in the living room. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden where there is a hot tub with hot healthy springwater from the hot spring Deildartunguhver. The house has two floors. On the first floor there is a living room including a dining room with a dining table for 15 people, lamps, decorations. In a nice kitchen with all tools and equipment you can prepare your meals. To relax from travelling there is a TV room with a leathersofa for 7-9 people and a TV. One bedroom for two and one of the bathrooms, a showerroom and a lavatory can also be found on this floor. On the second floor there are five rooms and a bathroom. Each bedroom has got two nightstands, chairs, a hanger, a shelf, lamps, a mirror and decorations. Accommodation in quiet and calm Icelandic nature and country environment in a hall of mountains. We have two 27m2 cosy chalets hosting four persons, fitting 2 persons well or a family of 4 with children but with limitations on space and equipment for 4 grownups. Lýsuhóll is a small family business. Accommodation offered in cosy little cottages and a guesthouse with double and single rooms. There is a restaurant and horse back riding tours are offered.  During summer you can rent six cosy little summer cottages which consist of a bedroom, a living-room, a small kitchen, shower and toilet and are ideal for two or four people, especially families. From all the cottages you have a fantastic view of the glacier Snæfellsjökull, the mountains and the sea. Accommodation is also available in two bigger houses with 4 rooms each which can be used all year round. There are two twin/double rooms, one single and a big family room. They all have a washing basis in the room and share two bathrooms with showers. There is a kitchen with all the basic equipment and a cosy sitting and dining room. There is a hot tub on the veranda. Horse riding tours offered on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, mostly along the wide beaches of Iceland's most beautiful horse riding area "Löngufjörur". At Grund there is a small guesthouse, a short distance from Grundarfjörður where all services are available. There are many beautiful hiking trails in the area, both in the mountains and along the beaches. Grund is a good base to discover Snæfellsnes where the nature is magnificent and there is a lot to do.

Fossatún is located 90 km from Reykjavík by road nr 50. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and scenery in the Mid-Borgarfjörður area. Fossatún is an ideal destination for shorter and longer stays. Country HotelThe Country Hotel offers 18,2 m2 comfortable standard rooms with ensuite bathrooms. There are 12 rooms (double and twin available), and all are wheelchair accessible. Each room has a different decoration and a flat-screen TV with international channels, as well as free Wi-Fi, available outdoors and indoors. Breakfast is included in the price. All rooms come with bed linen and towels. GuesthouseThe guesthouse is just 250m from Fossatún Reception and it has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi and access to all Fossatún facilities. The Sunset Cottage  is only 35 metrs from the service house  (hot tubs). The Sunset Cottage has it name for a reason and is a 42m2 two bedroom house with kitchen facilities and a bathroom.  Camping PodsThe camping pods are the newest type of accommodation at Fossatún and they provide a warm and comfortable stay to our guests. Guests need to bring everything they would bring if they were camping: sleeping bags, pots and pans, etc., but there is an added luxury of space, warmth, dryness, electricity and a good bed to sleep in. The pod is divided into a sleeping area and a lounge. The lounge has a table, 2 chairs and a bench. In the sleeping area there is a bed for two persons with special matress of fabric that breathes, is water resistant and bacteria free. Inside there are also electrical radiators, lights, sockets and Wi-Fi available. Showers and toilets are open 24/7 on the same building as the hot tubs, a few metres away from the pods. Guests have also access to a Cooking Cabin, which includes a fridge, microwave, stove, tea kettle, pans, and a dining area. Most of our camping pods are only available from 1st of April to 31st of October, but a new type, more insulated is now available from November to March.  Restaurant"Rock and Troll" is the restaurant´s slogan. The Record CollectionWhen having dinner, customers can choose one record from Steinar´s vinyl collection, which includes more than 3.000 records, and our staff will happily put it to play. This incredible collection belongs to Steinar Berg, the host at Fossatún and a man with a great love for music. Steinar was born in 1952 and between 1975 and 1993 he was the owner of a music company, Steinar Records, which was involved with many of Iceland´s best musical talents. Accommodation in made-up beds and breakfast. On offer are both rooms with private and shared facilities. The views from the house are impressive, both over Breiðafjörður and looking towards the mountain ranges of Snæfellsnes. It is but a short distance to the shore and good walking trails can be found in the area.

Bjarg Borgarnes is small and cosy family-run guesthouse in old farmhouse on the outskirts of Borgarnes town. The old farmhouse which formerly housed sheep, horses, and chicken has been renovated as a guesthouse. Accommodation is in a 4 pers. studio apartment with private kitchen and bathroom facilities, in another separate space with two double rooms and one 4 pers. room, with shared cooking and WC/shower facilities. The third option is a cottage (81m2) with two double/twin rooms, a sofa bed in the living room, a bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, dining room, and with a wonderful view over the Borgarfjörður fjord. The surroundings are peaceful, but all services are very close by. Conveniently located for those traveling in West Iceland.

Hotel Karólína is a boutique hotel located in the old town of Stykkishólmur on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. The hotel is conveniently located within short walking distance of all the town's main attractions. Karólína in the sister hotel of its next-door neighbor, Hotel Egilsen, where our guests are welcomed and checked in.  Hotel Karólína has eight double rooms, split between two floors. The rooms on the ground floor are all recently renovated and the rooms on the second floor belong to the beautiful old house. All rooms have a private bathroom, brightly lit and equipped with a good overhead shower.  Wifi is available and is free of charge.

Dalahyttur is a family run company and offers 9 double rooms.  There are three 15m2 tiny houses. Each house consists of sleeping area with double bed 160 cm, a kitchenette, dining area, a bathroom with a shower, WiFi and car parking for each house.  We also have six 20m2 double rooms in three houses. Every room has a separate entrance, 160 cm bed, sofa, bathroom with shower, armchair, kettle, coffee and tea, WiFi and free parking for each room.  Reception and a restaurant are located in a renovated Quonset house at our premises. From the hut you can enjoy beautiful mountain view over three valleys. We opened our guesthouse in June 2011. We started with 16 rooms in our beautiful bequeathed family land surrounded by the ocean, mountains and of course with our horses, all the family being accomplished and passionate riders. In 2014, we inaugurated a new modern building with 11 beautiful rooms, increasing our capacity to 27 rooms in total. Kast Guesthouse is a family owner and run, with the help (only in high season) of very experienced individuals from all over the world who fell in love with iceland and what it has to offer, and are willing to give you their best advice and recommendations on what to do and see in their backyard.

Accommodation in an older residential building on the farm, which has renovated in 2010 before the guesthouse opened. The hosts are Guðfinna and Þórarinn. We have lived here since 1988. We lived with cows for most of the time but are now forrest farmers and have about 50 sheep, 4 horses, 2 dogs and 1 cat. The farming of the same family can be traced back to the 17th century.       

The Old Farmhouse has three storeys. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, dining room and a living room. On the second floor there are three double rooms with bathroom. On the third floor there are two double rooms and one bathroom. There is a hot tub on the  veranda.

The Castle offers accommodation in Búdardalur town. The property is facing the black beaches of Hvammsfjordur fjord and is within walking distance (500m) from grocery store, coffee and flower shop, Leif Eiriksson Center and coffee shop, Dalakot restaurant, Dalahestar horse rental and many more.  Each room features a fridge, coffee machine, kettle and toaster as well as free Wi-Fi and parking. In the main house are shared bathroom facilities equipped with a shower. Outside the main house is a common room with shared cooking facilities, washing machine and dryer.  There are also three small cottages on the property (15m2) with private bathroom, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave.  A barbeque is available for our guests.  Please contact us for prices and availability.

The new Drangar Country Guesthouse is on a repurposed farm, well-situated on the Snaefellsnes peninsula, bordering Dalir, a mere two-hour drive from Reykjavik. The Old Post Office Guesthouse is a small guesthouse in the center of Grundarfjordur. All rooms have private bathrooms with shower and a flat screen tv and internet access. Lambalækur is a guesthouse located in the quiet countryside near the town of Borgarnes, an one hour drive from Reykjavík. Lambalækur is a set in a lovely 19th century, renovated Norwegian wooden house with rustic furnishing. The house features 5 bedrooms, each with an in-room wash basin as well as 3 bathrooms. The Borgarfjörður area has stunnig landscapes and beautiful natural attractions that you can explore. This is a great option for your winter holiday with a good possibility of spotting the Northern Lights and seeing them clearly as there are no distracting light poles around. Open all year. 

Welcome to Guesthouse Nýp! B&B, twin or double, full bedding. Our guesthouse is off the beaten track with fantastic scenery across the Breiðafjörður bay and a view to the Vestfjords. In 1937 concrete housing was built at the sheep farm Nýp to replace the traditional turf houses. Dalakot is a small guesthouse in an old house that has hosted guests since the mid-20th century. In 2013 the young couple Anna Sigríður Grétarsdóttir and Pálmi Jóhannsson bought the guesthouse and gave it the name Dalakot. Since then they have worked hard on renovation of the house and the garden and they are still working. The guesthouse has 9 rooms with accommodation for 19 people. They also have a small house by the beach that sleeps 6 people and is suitable for smaller groups or a family. A restaurant and a bar is also located in the house where pizzas and hamburgers are the main dishes of the menu but also offers a few specials. Open daily from 12:00 to 21:00.
